My rod is now dead. Looking for a new one, but it has to double as a solid pitchin rod. I throw horny toads 90% of the time when I be froggin. Let the recomendations fly!
A longer rod, 7'3" at least, with serious backbone but a fast enough tip to cast those lighter weight baits and to walk it back to ya.Pardone my ignorance, but what qualities of a rod make it a frog rod? I'd think you'd want good hook setting power, but never fished one so I'm curious.
