Hit up the local course last night with Franklin....really had to be ninja since there was some sort of meeting going on in the building we parked in front of. It was windy as heck, with a few drops of rain. Fished Delw's Senko's (Dark colored) and split shot purple slider worms...one nice fish on a spinnerbait, about 3 lbs. Franklin had a bunch on a spinnerbait and a few dinks on a small crawdad worm...not bad for about 45 minutes of fishing/hiding from passing cars...then the rain came up hard and the fish shut off....always wondered if the rain shuts em off and now I know. This pond continues to amaze me!
Jason

Hey Jason,

Have you ever noticed how most of the guys who post on azbasspro actually list the body of water they fished at. They might not list the location on the body of water but they do list the body of water. If these Ninja raids are such a secret then why even post them??

Hey,

maybe I post them b/c when I learn something about bass in general (like when they stopped hitting the other night when it started pouring) I like to pass it on to the people here. If you dont like it, its simple, DONT READ IT. Either that or get off your hiney and go find your own pond.

Ninja raid...

I'm sure theres more important things cops can be doing besides waiting around for the nightly fishing ninjas to show up. Why would fellow fishing buddies want to give up your pond. We all like catching fish. In an article in BASSIN' mag , they had an article about fishing industrial park ponds, golf courses, and run off ponds. I think its cool what you guys do, hell I,ve done it a time or two. Ninja sqad unite!!!!!!

Fish hard , BIG JOE

Dont't worry, I won't read them in the future. I guess I'd just like to know if these "ponds" even exist and if there are even fish in them that can be caught by a cool Ninja such as yourself!!

I cant believe how much crap you Ninja guys get. There's a pic of one of you guys with a nice fish so one of you guys exist. What you ought to do is put a name to these lakes like a nickname. Then those who watch and read your posts can see how well one course pond is to the others. If you guys ever get real crazy like a out of town mission, go to Tucson National and fish #9 pond on the Gold course. There's BIG fish in that one. If I recall theres atleast 4 fishing poles in there(not good ones starters!)either by fish or I do believe one by frustration! And about the cops......isnt that the best part? Puts a little more action in the game. most of the time you get a officer who fishes and you give him the story and they normally give you the WARNING and away you go to the pond on the other side! :D :D :D I had one security gaurd take me home one time, thought that I would get in all this trouble but my grandpa let him have a earful about how he should be doing something more important then picking on teenagers. Bottom line is I've done it and it brings back the days! good luck would still like to hear a story about beiing caught!!!!!!! Chris
P.S I'm ninja raiding tomorrow in a 20 ft champion

SERPICO....why do you have to start crap? Just stop worrying about me...maybe you cant catch fish, maybe youre gay, maybe you have a mullet and a double chin(maybe all of them at the same time)....maybe youre too dumb to notice there are five freakin million golf courses in Az and maybe most of em have bass in them...I had respect for you b/c you have been on this board for awhile, but now I see youre just jealous and a hater. Eat SH*T.

I guess it's no fun to fish when I dont have to ask for permission. 2 times out of 10 days I must be sick

Serpico, as these guy's have said there are fish in just about every golf course pond around here and since most of the "ninja's" do not have boats these are their hot spot's,kinda like the way most of the posters will tell you what lake but not where they caught fish.these ponds are small and the whole thing is the hotspot.JMHO.. and as slotking said I would be interested in the "got caught" stories too! :)

Ned 02,

I appreciate your insight without all the "gay" and "mullet" talk. Anyway, even if you know the body of water, one still must make the correct lure presentation, find the correct depth, fish at the right time of day, etc. I used to carolina rig saguaro and would rig my worm with too much of a bend in it. I showed you my set-up out on thee water and you told me to straighten out my worm. It made all the difference. My point is that there is much more to it than just knowing the body of water.

So the straight worm helped? on these golf courses you could probably throw a horseshoe with trebles on it and get bit, at least it used to be that way when as a kid I was forced to play golf and I would sneak a handline setup into my golf bag, also used to do that at the zoo too! I find the "ninja post's entertaining but you guy's do seem to be a little homophobic.Remember we have female and younger fisher folks that read these post's too.
PS: did not mean to malign the ninja fishing skills with the Horseshoe thing... have you tried a nine iron with 6# test? :p

Ned02,

Appreciate the feedback. I couldn't agree more about the need to "filter" profane or inappropriate comments due to the kids and women that read the board and wished others would respect this as well. Maybe I will see you at MMBC??

Stick to the lakes then. I'll keep on having 12-13 fish nights (thats just an hour of fishing). Kind of a no brainer on where I would rather fish, legal or not.
