Happy B-day Anthony.
Happy B-day Anthony.
VERY COOL!!!!!!!!!!!As some of you know Anthony is in a special education class. Yesterday Anthony had his 16th birthday party. WOW the kids 16, time flies.
Earlier in the week April gave him invitations to pass out to his friends in school, over the week she was getting RSVP's by some people who we had no clue to who they were. other than they said they are Friends of Anthony,( lots of girls) April and I had NO clue who he invited or who these kids are.
so yesterday we get to the place and Anthony is sitting an waiting for his highschool friends to show up. Along with some friends in his special education class, other kids that he hangs around with at lunch time start showing up.
if someone was in highschool they would classify these ladies as Pretty hot chicks. they just didnt come by say hi and leave they stayed till the very end hung around with Anthony played games , read his birthday cards to him etc etc.
3 guys came to the party also they hung around the whole time as well they didnt seem to know the girls or anyone else, these 8-10 kids were telling April and I they sit with him at lunch time.
The 3 guys in particual were absolutely respecful and well mannered, when they got there after playing games with Anthony for a while, they came up and asked if they bought certain presents for Anthony if it would be ok/Appropiate, I said sure no problem ( squirt guns fake swords and stuff like that) I was pretty shocked that they asked. but is was real cool of them to ask if it was ok.
About 20 mins later they came back with a a wrapped bag set it on the table with the other gifts then went and hung around till the end playing games and such, when Anthony opened it up it was LOADED with stuff. he was thrilled.
Everyone at the party Made Anthony's day he loved it, those 8-10 kids that arenot in his special education class's even made it better they just dont know how much.
with these 8-10 kids theres actually hope in our future generation.

Umm I respectfully disagree.Happy B-day Anthony "The Stick" Wilcox.
If you stop watching TV and actually go out and meet some kids, you realize that there is a future. It really hasn't changed that much, you just only ever see the negative.
DanW; I agree, we are mostly just subjected to the negativity, but if you can spend time with kids of this age group, you will see that there are a lot of great kids out there, sure they razz, and talk crap to one another, but they also take care and look after one another. Del thanks for the good story, and Happy B-Day to your son.!Happy B-day Anthony "The Stick" Wilcox.

Just listen to the words and you will see a huge difference in society. These two songs are just an example. I don't put much stock into today's kiddies. Anthony's friends are the exemption to the rule.
I understand your point, but when Peggy Sue first came out it was also not accepted by straight laced Americans because they thought Buddy Holly was black and promiscuous. Remember it was heard on radio first.Umm I respectfully disagree.
