The rate at which they pump water out(2500cfs) of the lake is going to produce currents all over the lake. That said, for the most part I don't think they would be perceptible.

The river would have the most current.

Have you guys been to Plez? there are crazy currents all over that lake. Anchor up somewhere and put just a small split shot on and drop it straight down and watch your line, it will move in one steady direction. When we're striper fishing you drop your chum over the side and watch it. The lakes so clear you can see it all drifting in one general direction down 20 ft +. That is because there is current. Steve M is exactly right, that is no small amount of water being sucked out of that lake.

there is lots of massive currents in the river!!!! oh wait it is the waves from all the idiot wake board boats!!!!

but they did move the no ski and no wake buoys down river, first time I have seen them move the no ski buoys (wish they would put them at the mouth of the river!!)

I wish they would put those buoys at the launch
