Hey Nuday, I am hoping that Randy will send D A a copy of the weigh-in results to post here. I can tell you that there were 34 boats and only 12 5-bass limits were weighed in. Something around 9.1+ lbs was first place and I think they had around a 4 lber in their limit that won big fish. First place paid $1,925 in cash. D A and George had 8+ lbs and came in something like 3 or 5th place, good enough for $500. Joe Owens and I had 4 bass weighing 6.62 lbs for 12th place and 3.18 # was our largest which was good for $200 and 2nd or maybe 3rd place for big fish. Apparently John Murray, Brett Hite, and Mark Kile were down the list somewhere. In one week, the lake level was raised 5 vertical feet and the surface water temperature dropped from around 76ºF down to 71ºF.

Ranger open

This was a great tournament. fishing was a littel off but still a great time, Randy as always does a great job. It would have been a little different for hite and kile to fish this since neither one fishes out of a Ranger. As for John he was just there to see how things went. It was nice to see both dealers and their pro staff show up, at least everyone knows Ranger is well promoted. can't wait for the next one to happen...as far as the big fish it was actually caught by a team in the top 20 not first place.
