Any of you guys or gals tried these new rod wraps? Or do you think it's a waste of money?

What is a rod wrap? Obviously I've not tried them.

I was confused about this too, either it is the velcro straps for holding several rods together while in transport or thread wraps on the rod for the guides.

If these are the RodWraps he was talking about, then I know they are used on golf putters and tennis racket grips with success. The only advantage I could see over cork grips on rod handles is you can color code your rods. That's assuming you have enough of the same identical rod/reel combos to color code. Too bad they don't have pink, cause Delw would be all over them.

Aw jeez that is ugly, da I use a 3m tape from Home Dump to indentify my rods on the saltwater trips, makes it easy to find my rigs when there is 200+ rods and reels on a boat. I don't wrap the handle just the rod at eye level (Stand Up) Can't think of any use for bass fishin though.
