I finally got zoned in to azbasszone!!! Monday we fished from 8:15 a.m. until 4 p.m. and caught 28 crappie and 4 small bass. 21 of the 28 crappie went from 1.3 pounds to 2 pounds. We fished for bass for an hour or so with no results. All fish were caught trolling jigs in 10 to 20 feet of water on the Tonto end....Wednesday we fished from 9:15 a.m. until 2:15 p.m. and caught 24 very nice crappie and 15 small bass. My 4 1/2 year old grandson, Kasey, caught the biggest crappie (2 pounds even) and the most bass. A fish were caught trolling in 10 to 20 feet of water in the Salt end.....Art

Looks like you're in the zone for crappies too! To me, it looks like a good crappie bite. Is the fall bite normally like this?

Roosevelt crappie

No, this is certainly not your typical fall crappie bite. Usually it is a vertical presentation with either jigs or spoons. The trolling bite doesn't normally come on until sometime in December or even January......Art
