We fished Friday from 10:15 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. and caught 21 big crappie topped by my grandson Kasey's 2.2 pounder. We caught 11 on jigs and 10 on cranks trolling in 20 to 28 feet of water east of Windy Hill.....Art
I told the person that e-mailed me I would answer him right here. I one rod I first tie on to my 6/2 Fireline a small gold snap on which I put a 1/8th ounce jig and a 2 inch Kalin black/blue/chartruese grub. Then 30 inches above that I tie another gold snap with a palomar knot and put another 1/8th ounce jig with a 2 inch Berkley pumpkin chartruese Power Grub. On the second pole I tie a gold snap and put on a small crankbait like a shallow diving Norman's little N. Again 30 inches above the crank I tie a 1/8th ounce jig with a Kalin B/B/C grub. Right now we're running about 40 feet of line on our Shakespeare LCM-1 line counters and running the boat a one mile per hour on my Lowrance GlobalMap 100 GPS. That about covers it...Best of luck.....Art
