We fished Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and caught 24 very nice crappie. We caught them on jigs and crankbaits (12 each) trolling in 25 to 29 feet of water east of Windy Hill......Art

Art, the Jumping Cholla jig crew in our boat ended the day with 46 and all of them on jigs. Big fish weighed in at 2.7 pounds for us. Thanks again for showing us how last year. It's a pleasure to share the lake with you.
We counted 78 boats today in the "fleet" and all of them freindly. Sure is a social group!
Stay safe...

Curt is alive and well and was a member of the fleet acouple times this week. He doesn't guide anymore but is out on Roosie chasing crappie quite a bit. He said he might be down at the boat show one day this week. To Bob: Thanks for the tip to go deeper yesterday. We started fast, in the morning, then struggled. Shortly after dropping three of the lines down, my clients had a quadruple and we got all four in the boat. Three of the four came on the longer lines. When the time is right, you'll have to reveal the secret about the "Jumpin' Cholla Jig"!!!!!.....Art
