This lake is one of the best in the country. There's a lake right down the street on the Res that is the best lake in the country; San Carlos.
Rosey 8-8...
Started at around 6 pm on the salt end...picked up one on crank, one sb.... sun went down, switched to TR plastic....Moon up around 8:30 and it was on fire again....ended up with 10 overs , 1 under and a truck load of slots...fish are super aggressive...swallowing hooks...makes me feel bad throwing some slots back that are bleeding, but not sure on rules ( I know you can keep one slot)... No toads though....still searching....I love this lake.....one day, it may be one of the best in the country...

You should carry some a can of citrus based soda like Sprite for the bleeders. Pour a little on the bleeding area and the citrus acid helps shrink the blood vessels and stops the bleeding.
