Jim and I started about 6 AM. Tried top water on shore line next to dam, moved to the flat across from Shiprock, Nada. Tried for yellow bass in a couple of spots, more Nada. Tried trolling for Walleye, nothing. Decided to try the upper river about 9 AM. Surprised that they were releasing water already. Picked up 2 15" bass on Kastmasters about 32 ft deep, above sandy beach. 10 AM they shut the water off and so did the fish, so we left about 11 AM.
