I got my butt kicked this morning on Saguaro. I fished hard and covered lots of water, or dead water as some call it. We where barely able to avoid the Skunk. Only one largemouth that was about a pound. I had three or four good swirls on a few different baits, but I just couldn't figure out what they wanted and how they wanted it today. I did get to talk with Slotking briefly. A slow morning but it's better than sleeping in until noon. Josh

Same here except i got skunked. The jacka$$ that was listening to eminem in his wakeboarding boat probably didnt help too much. Oh well i'll get 'em next time. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on good places to catch some cats at sag. My brother gets pissed quick when he is throwing everything he can at bass and doesnt catch anything. So I figured he might like to sit and catch some cats. Thanks for any help. Good luck to all you guys tomorrow.

Same story here

Fished with my daughter this morning from 5:45 until about 9:00 AM. couldn't buy a bite this morning. No topwater, DS, C-rig, T-rig, crankbait etc etc. We heard the wakeboarder and Eminem this morning too. I think he could be heard all over the lake. can't wait until the water gets too cold for these yahoo's! Tough day on the lake.

as I reported to Josh this morning 7lm on topwater ricos and 1 on ds and a big cat on ds foul hooked. Lost 2 ricos and a pointer(lucky craft) I guess due to line. Biggest fish was the cat and all the rest were 2lbs and under. Caught three fish in a row and I think thge same one twice. Went to the back of mesquite and was going to trey a frog back there but first cast with that and she went about 100yds into the tullies!oops!
Tadmo I think i saw you and your daughter by shiprock fishing the shoreline, sorry I didnt know who you were. Josh always a pleasure to see you out on the water and also your dad. better luck next time. What time of year did you catch that 12?? Curious. When I left a saw a couple of guys with a bucket full of bass. Big ones prbably 5-6's that I hope were going for dinner someplace. Ran into a father and son also with about 20 lmb and there was only those two. I did tell them that the limit was 5 each. didnt seem to care what I had to say but as I was on the way home I relized that you can take 6. Must be that tourny brain fart!

All considered that sounds like a pretty good morning Chris. It's disappointing to hear those stories of the large quantities of quality sized LM's being kept. Do these people understand their cajones don't grow by keeping them? Losing the 2 Ricos sounds a bit disappointing but I guess that's fishing!

Yes Josh. That was me and my daughter. Just as we were leaving I was gonna ask you guys how you did and was just rushed to get back home. My sister was watching my son while I was out on the lake for a few hours for me.! I wish we could have met in person.

Did you see the yahoos trying to load there boat while we were waiting in line with the trailers.

Did my daughter almost run in to you guys out there while waiting to load?

Slotking. I think I saw you too. I think we all need to get some kind of sticker or something to put on our boats so we know who we are. It sounds like you had a great day out today. It was tough for me. Hope to meet you some day out on the lake.

Yeah Tadmo, there sure where some "unexperienced boaters" at the ramp Sunday. Last week some guys back half way down the ramp taking up two and a half lanes and decide to at that moment with three other trucks waiting behind them to load the cooler, skis, and physically get in the boat. Well, after they get all of the gear in the boat they can't figure out who can back the boat off the trailer better so they argue for about five minutes and finally decide to go wait on the dock and have the driver of the truck back it off. That was one of the top five worst things I've ever seen at the ramp. As for your daughter driving your boat, she seemed pretty comfortable at the weel and stayed clear of us. It's pretty cool to be able to have your daughter load your boat onto the trailer when some guys wont let thier fishing buddies with licsences put it on the trailer. Josh

Josh, my daughter does pretty good loading the boat up on the trailer. I have often wondered why they don't make the ramp at Saguaro a 6 or 9 lane. Or would that mean we would have 3 or 4 yahoos jackknifing there trailers at the same time instead of the usual 1 or 2.
