·I had a trip on Saguaro today, and we did good. We caught 7 solid bass off of flats, 3 on jerkbaits and 4 on crankbaits. We also lost a real big fish on a crankbait. After a couple of hours we started pitching against the walls, which was a good choice. By alternating with a small compact light weight jig/pig that I make, and a Yamamoto skirted twin tail rigged on one of my heavier weedless heads, we were able to get 8 more good bass. Every fish on the walls hit on the initial drop before the bait touched botton. Most of our fish were between 2 1/2-3lbs, with a big fish of 4.6lbs. We also had several good hits by letting an 8'' Texas rigged lizard rigged weightless free fall very slowly down the walls, but I think the bass were just holding the tails. Good luck.....Joe
