Good day with Ranger (Don) on the water today. I didn't kick his butt, it was only 5 to 2 on the fish score. 
two fish were caught on topwater (soft jerk, 2 @ 2.0 lbs), two fish on dropshot(1.5 & 2.0 lbs.), and the big guy @ 4.3 lbs caught on a pearl colored fat free fingerling shad crank on the north shore past the Mesquite flats area. It was good to meet bassblaster & Tempepops(thanks for the donut offer!). We saw Bayou, Ned02, and d a on the water as well. there were spradic shad boils throughout the lake, but nothing spectacular. I feel the buzzbait topwater action is two weeks away.it was a little warm out there and very sunny. The weather should be changing around Friday, maybe a good day to chase some fish! Tightlines!!!
