[Young Gun]

I had the chance to fish this morning with Rippinlips. We had a great morning and it slowed as time went on. The fish bit everything we threw at them. We ended up with five but we could have seriously had over fifteen if we would have hooked up with half the fish we got bit by. We saw GETTHENET, ned02, JohnSWA, DA, Spiderman, and the Nightcrawler clan. I got to try some new spots and learned alot. Thanks for a great morning Jim. Josh

Good to see everyone again this morning! Got to meet Joe C and Justin along with Mrs. NedO2 and the rest of the family. Jack, where did you find the pink duct tape? :lol: Was nice to meet new folks today.

Okay, here's the scoop. D-shot? You reading this??? I FINALLY got my first dropshot fish. Now that I got that out of the way, I can start fishing again. :twisted: :roll: Seriously, Rob was trolling around and I asked him how deep we were. 50' - well, I looked around me and thought there wasn't anything I had rigged that would probably be effective (for me LOL) but we were close to the bank/cliff. I grabbed my ds hoping that there would be tapering shelves going down to the 50' and there were. Imagine that! So I was working down the shelves when something felt different. What was there to lose? I set the hook and then decided it was a snag. Funny though, that snag was over there just a second ago - IT'S A FISH! :shock: Got it in the boat, weighed (2.8) and pictured and released. Only fish of the day for me.

While I was waiting to back the trailer at the ramp I thought for sure we were going to have a submerged van! I was concerned ......because he was taking up two lanes and it would have tied up the ramp waiting for someone to pull him out. :twisted: :lol: I watched as this guy backed down going pretty quick. That van was in the water to the bumper! Realizing his "oops" he pulled up a bit but still left the tailpipe in the water. He liked the bubbles. LOL

All in all a good day. Saw JohnSWA and Wendy, Spiderman, Cindy, Toad (Chuckle) and Baxter, NedO2 and family, Rippinlips, Josh, Ranger, Mike and Josh's bro, Joe C, DA. Cody got a tube ride with Jack too! I felt sorry for Jack because no one trusts him anymore so I was trying to make him feel better by allowing Cody to go with him. LOL

Fished sag this morning not even a bite. NADA Got to meet Ned O2 . Nightcrawler & daphne and there son cody. Nice to meet you all. We got up there late Around 6:15 Spent more time driving than fishing. Got off the lake before it got any worse. Hope to see you folks again

Joe, I guess that's fishing but I feel for ya nevertheless. You gotta wonder would Canyon have been any better??? Probably not - but who knows? Daphne, congrats on the d.s. fish. Now, you know what to expect and it'll only get better for ya...WTG.
