Went to the salt river after dam by all the reeds. Did good caught 5 trout all in about 20 min. All on my flyrod with flies I tied.

Went today thursday didnt do as good only got 1 bass that was 1lb. My friend caught two trout. Had lots of bits we missed. All fish were caught on the flyrod and and flies I tied.

superflies?????

Do you have some kind of superflies??? Just asking because I have never caught a bass on flies.

No superflys were used. I did use beadheaded Green hares ear with sinking line. Usually most my bass on a flyrod come on a bullet head olive woolybugger. I rember hearing last winter a float tubber was using a peacook ladie for trout and caught like a 9 or 10 lb bass at canyon, so you never know.
