im ghoing out to sag rain or shine!weather doesnt bother me unless lightning is coming down close,i actually like hitting all the waves
I was just thinking the same thing... We all the know the weather forecast is us usually far from dependable but it says 40-50% chance of rain thru tomorrow nite and into Sunday. Hope they're wrong and it's at least tolerable for the tourney!
lets go!!!! I'm with Fish Hawk. Lightning and I'm off the water. Ive still caught stripers from shore though.
well i think vertical jigging will produce some good size stripers sat night i think illl jig a freestyle jig jap style and see if i get them on a drop or not then ill shot them with the 12 gauge haha
oh guys remember about the lighting can get you ten miles away
yea i hope that the weather is wrong ive been looking forward to this one.
Tow it out and if its bad weather tow it to Bartlett. Don't feel like soaking chovies in the rain.
there's a 50% chance of rain. it might rain, it might not... if it does, hopefully it doesn't last that long. they usually don't.

FYI, the marina is a good place to wait it out.
Plus I have that extra pair of Smedium frog toggs.
bring em to me... what are you afraid of DOC? all that muscle and you're afraid of a small chance of getting wet?

i'll bring the reel if you still want to check it out.
AWESOME !

Thats what I wanted to hear from everyone.

if a storm does hit, it will make for some interesting stories and some relatively small weights. JMO

see ya there
I'm still in. If it gets too bad we can all tie off to the tires and wait it out.

ohh geez there is a great idea. lets tie off to navigational aid, illegal not to menyion it will tear your boat up
i've been keeping a close eye on the weather... looks like it's a 40% chance now (less then what it was at 50%) don't see anything heading towards out way except that system east of us out by globe heading northwest.
and your still holding a lightning rod...
ha i guess so. can win if you don't play:)

It's all good until your line won't lay on the water from the static elec, or when you reel in your line the reel shocks you as you reel...

That's when it's time to get the hell out of there!

You guys all be safe out there and lets see some major striper carnage!
