info that I can get on so called fishing pro Trent schureman. Long story short Trent has scammed me out of $8,000. I had met with Trent several times and We had set up plans to start a small business, that has yet to happen. He had told me at any time I could cash out and walk away. That was several months ago... All I got was excuse after excuse ( cancer, divorce, problems with the paper work or I will call back tonight with no return phone call ) .gentlemen I am reaching out in hopes that someone can help me out, I really don't want I get lawyers or police involved , I would hope that he would step up and do he right thing.

So, you forked over $8 grand to some yahoo and you think a post on a forum will get it back? If you don't already have a good attorney you are basically out of luck. If you have a legal contract then get your attorney to pursue the guy in court. That is an expensive lesson but IMO partnerships never work.

People like this always get whats coming to them. If not now, then sometime down the road. Life has a way of catching up with you. When I was younger I hung out with a few "undesirable" types who ended up lying and stealing from me and everyone they knew - even stealing my car one night while I was asleep, crashing it, and bringing it back pretending they had no idea what happened (I woke up to a wrecked car in front of the house). Years later one of them died after getting behind the wheel sh*t faced and rolling into a ditch, and the other has spent most of his adult life in jail for drug related issues. Im not saying stealing a vehicle (or $8K) is worth dying over, but the point being that these types of people dont typcially live a real glamorous life for too long.

Mr. Perkins, I agree with everything Ringer said. This forum is not the place to slam this. You need an attorney and probably a good one that would handle a "gentlemans" agreement, if you don't have anything is writing. Good luck to you. Sometimes THINGS just happen, it's could be just helpless situation.
