I had a Bantam 10X Mag - with the Fighting Star... LOL! I think it was called the 10X Mag. It was 10X something, that's for sure. For some reason, that line, "with the Fighting Star", stuck in my mind...LOL! I tossed mine out about a year and a half ago when it needed some work. ...if I'd been reading AZBP then, I would have known they could get fixed. I bought mine when I was still in the service and I bought it at a (see if anyone remembers these...) K-Mart, in El Cajon CA. I think it was 1989 or 90 and I paid about $95.00 for it. I had it on a "top end" Zebco rod which was actually my favorite rod until I broke it bringing in my biggest fish. It was a carp, the length of my leg. I still have 2 older bantam reels, a Bantam B-110 and a Bantam Mag Plus.

Ah... JohnSWA is just trying to be nice.
