Shimano Curado 50's

I am sick and tired of messing around with those spin cast reels. How in the hell do you guys deal with those things. They won't pick up line, drag is too loose or too tight, spin line around the nut, 1 to 1 ratio UUGH.

I think I can get my boys throwing a baitcaster and would like to at least try. I have never had them on spinning gear as I always wanted the motion to be the same as baitcaster. I learned when I was seven so at least one boy is ready.

Just wondering if anybody has some good but little baitcast reels.I MEANT CALCUTTA!!!

you got em throwin leftys? i got a curado 101D just seem to be left at home every time i go out.

oops missed the 50's part. never heard of em, sound cool.

I have a couple that I have bought off of ebay in the past. I have paid about $60 a piece on average. My 9yr old loves them, those are "his" reels!!! They are a great little reel and work great at throwing DS, wacky senkos, shakey heads....


New they are averaging $150 ea or so, get them on ebay!

good luck (I still want a ride in the Bullet to compare against the Ally)...

I have my 11 yr. old throwing my old curados 100 s and she loves them. I got all new curados and gave her the old model 100s .:lol:
