Anyone have any info on this lake? Thinking of going up there this weekend and wonder if I can launch a 18' bass boat and if they are biting.

I usualy dont have that much luck for the bass during the day there, but at night cast a big black buzz bait and fish it slowwwww....... and hang on! I would try too catch some walleye wile your there too. There might be a limmit on what size moter you use.

Mike. just trim your motor up and dont start it at all and you are fine.
Dont even start it to put it on the trailer.

show low lake

Was up in white mts last week,looked at show low lake,it is down but cement launch ramp is in water quite a ways. there were probably 10 shore fishermen trying for trout and maybe a dozen boats on the lake (I think it is limited to 8hp engines). Nice thing was it was 80 degrees there when it was 107 in Phoenix. Have fun. :wink:

The motor size was increased to 10hp max this year, but sorry, I don't have one of those lying around either. Unless the wind is blowing hard, an electric trolling will get you around the lake OK. Try the rocky area across from the ramp.

they rent boats there fairly reasonable with outboards

they rent outboard equipted aluminum boats right there at the lake if you cant find an outboard before you go,I heard it is reasonable.

Bayou--smallies in show low??

Bayou,I know there is a healthy population of small mouth in Fools Hollow lake but I didnt know there were smallies in Show Low lake?? you had any luck catching any there??
