I drive through Quartzsite 4 to 5 times a week and used to stay at 65mph until I got closer to the light. That was until I got pulled over. Now its 55mph for what seems like a life time then 45 for a few miles then 35 the last 1/2 mile to the light. I understand the posted speed limit during the winter months with all the snowbirds jumping out of washes every where. It makes sents. But in the summer when the highway is empty I wish they would leave it at 65 for a few more miles. Hell I'm pretty much used to it now. Just have to be patient. I wish the PD were out their more often, cause when I'm coming home, doing 55-60 in a 55 I'm getting passed by people doing around 65-70.(usually California plates).
