I wouldnt think your going to get a better deal at one place or another,
the bankruptcy being risky, thats a good question, companies have filed backruptcy and come out better, others have filed bankruptcy and come out worse, during the process you might get the run around for warrenty stuff as there going to be pretty tight with money.
I dont think however you would have to worry about Ranger but you never know, I wouldnt put a OMC on it make sure you get a merc or Yamaha there a little better off finace wise, some wierd shit has been going on with OMC lately.

So Southwest is closing?

I never heard if they were closing so I doubt it

i was just there a few weeks ago and it looked like they were busy as hell atleast with maintenance stuff so i kind of doubt it to.

I didn't know OMC was making motors again.

Most of the Skeeter dealers here in TX don't have anything to do. No maintnance no nothing

Lots of rumors flying around. Per MIke Scott, no they are not closing. All you have to is pick up the phone and ask a simple question. You guys truly love the rumor mill.

SW Boats is not closing and is the only place I feel comfortable taking my boat. Mike and Kevin down there have treated me real fair and even cut me some slack here and there to save me a few bucks because of the economic condition we are all in. Not many places out there still do things like that and that is why I highly recomend them.

They don't even know me, and Mike has saved me money already. He will be mounting my new motor. In fact its already been shipped to their shop.

Curious as to Southwest has done great by me, and I mean great. Goddess where do you come by your information to post this post? I would hope you heard this first hand from Steve. I have not spoke to Steve so I don't know. I will let you answer, I plan to contact Steve.

So Delw, who is Goddess? Wouldnt this be one of those post that you would leak that info?

the rumor probally started due to steve was/is thinking about moving out of the ghetto to a new building when his lease is up next year. April was giving him adress's of buildings when I had move early this year.
