Del he is going to boot in San Diego, and the weather will be the least of his worries believe me. It's 3 months he wont ever forget.

Yepper 13 weeks that lead up to the final test.
There might be Bob, I'm not sure anything can really prepare anyone for that. I know it's been almost 33 years ago for me and I can remember it very well. I'm sure proud and grateful to see all these young patriots we have in this country still enlisting everyday.

German soldiers were dug in at a place called Belleau Woods in France, they called the charging Marines "Hounds from HELL", that is where the term "Devil Dog" came from. Semper Fi. Young kid will return from boot camp a young man!

Let's send him a big ole stuffed teddy bear when he is in Boot camp. My friend's son is there right now, and after about two years of talking trash about the AF, we are going to send him 3-4 stuffed bears with Air Force T shirts on....those instructors are going to kill him!

Cole starts Boot Camp on Oct 13th. He's in Arkansas right now visiting his grandparents. He's excited and im pretty sure he's nervous but he wont show it.
