First off, I wanted to thank The Hook-Up for helping out with the tourney. It wouldn't be possible without them! Please stop by to say hi to our friends John, Ben, and their staff members when you're in the area! You can also check the store out online at www.thehookupoutfitters.com

I also wanted to thank the guys who came out and fished the derby. It was awesome to hear that for some of you, it was your 1st time fishing a tourney! For those who didn't, you really missed out. The weather was perfect and fishing was great! Lots of Zoners showed up and it was really nice meeting you all!

Thank you Jim Everett (MBC AOY) and his son Vance for helping me with sign ups, weigh in, and check in. Also, big kudos’ to the ASU bass fishing team for showing up and cooking hot dogs! You guys rock!

There were 15 boats who showed with 38 fishermen. 3 places paid out. Top five teams were...

1st - Team Bill Poppert came to the scales with 31.61 lbs and averaged 15.81 winning $235
2nd - Team Ron Six weighed in 27.86 lbs for an average of 13.93 winning $140
3rd - Team Chris Teixeira weighed in 21.74 lbs for an average of 10.87 winning $95
4th - Team Brian Kobolo weighed in 16.80 lbs for an average of 8.40 lbs
5th- Team Mike Swag weighed in 18.5 lbs for an average of 6.17 lbs

Congrats to the winners! Not a bad pay day for a $15 entry.

HAD A GREAT TIME BUT THE HOT DOGS SUCKED LOL 3 BUCKS HELL I SHOULD HAVE GOT CHIPS AND A DRINK OR A KISS FROM THE BLOND HA HA CANT WAIT TILL NEXT TIME I SAY WE DONT LET THE CRAPPIE GUYS FISH

Don't forget Vu it isn't just the raffle ticket they have to pay the whole tourny fee too. Maybe Tai could learn something from you. LOL

Thanks Tai for setting up the tournament, Had a good time out there. It had been 18 years since I was on plez and the first tourney for me. It was good to meet the guys from the site and put some names with the faces. Let us know when the next one is. Thanks again Tai, The Hookup and the ASU team.

It was good to meet you at the Hookup before the event. I wish we could have fished it. Sounds like it was quite an aggregate of different types of fisherman mixed with a whole array of experience levels. That's pretty cool.

Thanks Tai and the Hookup for setting this up, I only wish Bruce (Fishless) would of shown up so we could of took some of his money too...:hump: It was great putting some names to faces. Make the next tourney 7 to 7 and have ASU making breakfast taco's, they'll make a killing! Crappie dudes rule! :moon: At least this time. :icon_attnwhore:
