A buddy of mine stopped by today and told me he pulled a 6-7 out of tempe town lake. His son pulled out 2 2-3 lb fish.
Theres some nice bass in that lake.

I used to fish that lake regularly a couple of years ago. I could come away with over 15 lbs for 5 fish easily. My personal best from there was only 3.5 lbs, but I could consistenly catch 3's. I had a couple of buddies tell me they got a 5 or a 6, but I didn't get to see it. I've only been able to catch 2 or 2.5 in my more recent trips there......

Now that I have a boat, I hardly go there...but to you folks without boats........give it a shot...I learned how to work a lot of different baits at that place...and there is structure there...you just have to look carefully for it.

I have to agree, my best there was a #3 but I seen two #5's swimming by a bridge support one day( I didn't get to catch them) 8)
