This was sent to me earlier this evening. This thing scares the sh#t out of me. I tried to pull up the full Bill from the link and the link had been removed. Go figure!!! This is Government control at its worst!! God help us all! Way to go O'bama!!

Here is a partial list of what Obama's Health Care bill looks like.....research it all but do read the bill then call your elected and ASK them if they have read the bill and remember that all Federal Employees have "their own" medical insurance and retirement - John Q. Public is not allowed to share in these perks so the Obama plan is only for the private sector and illegal aliens....'tho the latter is said not to be covered, read what is in the bill and do the research...look at Page 42. & 65.....this is what America needs or wants? Not this American! The Obama Medical Czars are going to "squeeze Senior Medical Care" I.e., fewer doctors, worse care. The bar for getting into Medical Schools is going to be lowered.....that is so the illiterate boobs that jam all of our schools and universities can feel good....becoming a Medical Doctor will no longer be on Merit. Our children and grand children are going to have a new responsibilities should any part of this horrid bill pass...taking care of their parents. JMS

This link will give you the FULL Bill

Here's some little gems from the Health Care Bill.................

• Page 29: Admission: your health care will be rationed!
• Page 30: A government committee will decide what treatments and benefits you get (and, unlike an insurer, there will be no appeals process)

This thread is gay. Calling your reps is even gayer. And since the health bill is bipartisan, the health bill is the gayest thing I have ever seen. Yes Republicans love it just as much as Obama does. Romney started National Health Care a long time ago in Massachusetts. That is right a republican started this National Health Care idea. You Republicans are so gay that you have your heads lodged up each others asses so high that you will never see the truth. You Republicans need to hold your party accountable first. Until you hold your party accountable, your attacks on the opposition party look asinine. I am for a new start. That is right. Get rid of all the assholes in Washington D.C.. That includes all Repbulicans and Democrats. I don't discriminate. Both parties are equally worth less. Until you dip shits figure that out nothing will ever change.

As we move from one political debate to another, it's often the case that talking points are established and many Americans remember only those that have been repeated most often by pundits. These high points essentially become political shorthand, providing a simplistic version of the world. So as to allow and help people like angler2020 to understand what is going on.

It's happening again with health care reform. On any given night you might hear a Democratic "talking head" say something like, "Republicans accuse President Obama of rushing this through, but Americans have been waiting 60 years. We've been pushing to cover all Americans since Harry Truman."

First, one must consider the logical fallacy that an idea becomes good or bad based on the amount of time it's been circulating. Clearly that is not the case.

Second, although Americans might now associate national health care with Harry Truman and, to a lesser extent, Bill Clinton (because it's less romantic for Democrats to remember his failed attempt), the truth is there is a much longer history, extending beyond Truman's 1948 campaign.

In fact, progressives (liberals) have been agitating for national health care coverage for more than a century. I don't think Romney is 100 years old. The American Association of Labor Legislation began pushing for it as early as 1906 -- and even then was accused of being late to the game. Interestingly, the American Federation of Labor actually opposed this effort, out of fear that universal health coverage would undermine the importance of union membership.

In 1912, Theodore Roosevelt's Bull Moose Party platform called for "a system of social insurance adapted to American use." His cousin Franklin Roosevelt considered including national health insurance as part of the Social Security Act of 1935, but excluded it for fear it could doom the entire bill.

The idea briefly fell out of favor -- even with progressives -- during World War II, when it was associated with socialism and derided as a "Prussian menace." But in 1943 the Wagner-Murray-Dingell Bill called for compulsory national health insurance -- and a payroll tax to pay for it. The legislation never came to a vote in Congress. A second bill of the same name was introduced in 1945. Though pushed by Truman, it died too.

Those who trace the origins of national health care back to Truman are correct in one sense: As part of his Fair Deal, he was the first president to call for one comprehensive health insurance plan. (FDR wanted the needy on a separate plan from most Americans.) But Truman was unable to get Congress to go along.

Though President Kennedy was unable to enact Medicare legislation as part of The New Frontier, President Lyndon Johnson, of course, was able to pass it, along with Medicaid, in 1965. These programs essentially provided health insurance for the elderly and the poor, respectively. But even the "master of the Senate" needed a year and a half to do that.

As President Obama struggles to get a health care bill passed prior to the August recess, one wonders how thoroughly he has studied this history.

As do I wonder how thoroughly Angler2020 has studied his. Your a moron sir. Please if you have something to add, speak out of your mouth not your ass.

So you call republicans gay 4 times in one post. Seems like you have gay in the forefront of your mind?

You say a governor(of a single state) started this"National Health Care Idea". How the hell can a governor start NATIONAL anything?

You say Romney started the idea of National Health Care? You AGAIN show how ingorant you are. Romney was Governor of Mass from 2003-2007. Even an idiot should know that 2003 is AFTER 1992, which is when the Clintons tried to force health care down the throats of Americans. I guess he must have "called it" 10 years before ever running for governor.

I agree both parties are screwed up, with crooks in both.

I however did not vote for an unqualified, anti-american, racist, socialist, great public reader, anti police dept., elitist.

I voted for the old, democrat leaning, war hero, because I thought he was the better choice of the 2.

If you want to rail on republicans fine, just pull your head out of your ass as you tell us too, and at least know what the hell you are talking about.

Or just learn how to read a calender would be a good start.: Jerk-it

You are retarded. Bigtime. And you are beyond a plagiarist. It took me two sentances to figure out that you stole some one else's ideas. You are a thief of the worst kind. Why would you take some one else's work and try and pass it off as your own? You are the gayest of them all. That is obvious. You are the perfect example of what is wrong with Americans.

This health care legislation is modeled off of the bs started by Romney. Fining people for not getting health insurance was Romney's idea. Even though the clintons tried to do it they failed. Romney the Republican socialized health care in Massachusetts. Bush socialized Medicare. I didn't here one Republican bitching about socialism back then. Republicans only bitch when their party doesn't have control.
Give me a break with your MC SAME propoganda. MC SAME was a thief in the 80's. Stole a bunch of old people's money in the savings and loan scandal. MC SAME got his power from marrying into the mob. His wife comes from mob money. MC SAME represents the mob nothing more.

Married to the Mob.

"And one of McCain's biggest assets, according to most of these people is that he eschews negative campaigning.

There is a good reason for that though. It's a tale that involves organized crime, corruption and murder. Let's say that John McCain never runs a negative ad against his opponents because he doesn't want them to dig too hard."

Really.....Are you serious. They may not be my words but its the truth, I thought that I might save some time by c/p it and add a few "personalized" comments as well. Also I vetted ever single factual assertion in that piece and found that it checked out. Furthermore, I believe Hammer gave the best advice....You would greatly benefit by learning to read a calender. Thank you for posting the link to the block...

Shut up cheater. What you did is illegal. There are laws that protect against thieves like yourself. If you tried that shit in a respected college or University your ass would have been kicked out. Obviously, you have no problem of stealing other people's ideas and passing them off as your own trying to make yourself look smart. But instead you look like an idiot. Is this what I should expect from Republicans? LOL. Republicans have no problem stealing elections. So I am going to have to say yes. This is what I should expect from Republicans. LOL

So AGAIN let's be clear. Romney started it 11 years AFTER THE CLINTONS FAILED?

Exactly which crime was McCain convicted of for "stealing a bunch of old people's money". Oh that's right NONE. Who was he convicted of murdering? Oh right NONE.

You keep saying Americans are stupid, but you consider people guilty until proven innocent.

You are probably the same asswipe who says we never landed on the moon, Elvis is alive and the mob killed JFK.

All you can do it copy and paste crap. That does not make you right.

Now you are learning. But since you have already established that you are a plagiarist, nothing you say now really matters anyways. You did it to yourself.

Hammer tell me why Republicans didn't bitch when Bush was socializing things? All of a sudden a democrat gets in office and we have socialism now. Bush signed the first bailout of the banks. GM got their money first from Bush's White House and Hank Paulson. Hank Paulson is a republican and was appointed by a Republican President. Hank started the bail out on Wall Street.
Let us not forget about Bush Socialism for old people. Do you not realize how much Bush's idea is going to cost the tax payers in the future. Or should I cut and paste the statisitics for you. Bush's ideas for Medicare are complete socialism. Why didn't the word socialism come out in the Press then? I would almost bet that Fox News used the word socialism first. I don't think you realize how much money we are going to have to print just for Bush's Medicare bs that is socialism.
All I want from you Republicans and Democrats is consistency. If Republicans are going to label everything now, "Socialism", that is hypocritical. If you would have held Bush accountable for his socialism then I wouldn't care. But you didn't. So your right to bitch is gone because you are a bunch of hypocrites. Instead of holding your party accountable you suck their dicks. So that is why you are gay. By the way Republicans are easy to piss off. It is so easy, that it is easier than a 50 cent whore in Nogales. Democrats are harder to piss off. But equally as worth less as Republicans.
All democrats do is blame republicans for everything and republicans blame democrats for everything. This is why a two party system only results in the breed of humans known as sheeple. And Hammer you say Bahhh Bahhhh a lot. The right winged media has you programmed just the way they want you to think. Hypocrite.
