You had mentioned you would release it where you caught it. If you read the posts regarding releasing that fish. If you would release it and it had any kind of disease or fungus, it may wipe out all the bass in your pond. As mentioned before, cook it up and eat the evidence.

oh yeah thats right. I dont plan on letting him go anyways. Wait, I dont even have a fish! But if I did, I would just let him grow old, fat and happy.

I have had friends that didn't have some pretty cool fish in the tanks they didn't have. I knew a guy that didn't have a small northern pike.

If it would have happened, it would have been fed a variety of minnows. Crappie minnows are a favorite and cheap. That is if someone would have done that.

If I had one, I would feed them to b/c they are about 12 cents each. Perfect when you will be out of town a while....smaller meal and harder to chase down.
