What are you going to be fishing for at ASU Research Park? If its carp or catfish use corn, stink bait and braed, if its bass use live and plastic worms, never got one on a crank but it might work for you. if you have other questions let me know and I will try to help you out. Good luck!

I allways fish for bass when i go there. I rarely use plastics tho, im more of a jig and Zara spook kind of guy. It's just that i havent been there in a while, so i wanted to get filled in. I have seen some grass carp in there that looked 4 feet long, have you ever cought them that big? And also how big do the cats get?And one more thing, is the pond with the reeds the only one with good bass?

I have not caught carp that big in ASU Research Park, but I have heard of people geting carp up to 3 1/2 feet long. As far as cats go, I have seen people get 5lbers. I my self go for bass and the best I got was about 2lbs give or take. The lake I fish at is the one your talking about. I think your best bet with bass is live or plastic worms. I hope This helps.
