I don't know how far into your contract you are but usually if you call to Verizon and pester them long enough they will give you a new phone at the special price. I know, I have been through about six phones over two years.

I have a couple, but the check ebay and Craigslist. There are always a ton of people selling their old phones as well as reconditioners selling used phones.

I have bought a few used phones with mostly good results.

If you buy one off craigslist or ebay, be sure to call Verizon with the serial number before you purchase it. If it comes up as being lost or stolen, they wont activate it. I bought one of Craigslist before and just met the guy at a verizon store to avoid any issues.
