What lakes have good cell reception ?

I have Verizon, and I can make and receive calls from Roosevelt.

I have Verizon I can get calls at every major lake and a few Northern AZ lakes. I got a call while in a blind up by Blue Ridge while hunting for Turkey. I don't know about the air card and the internet. But my blackberry works and receives calls at every major lake in AZ.

Very true but there are some bad spots (with Verizon) at all the lakes, even Plez..

Generally my aircard works when my Blackberry or cell phone does.

Verizon is pretty good at most lakes, there are a few places on each lake that is spotty reception but Pleasant, Roosevelt, Alamo and even Bartlett are mostly good to go with their service.

If you are woried about Pleasant then you should have concern at all the lakes. Keep an eye on your bars.

Same here..got good reception on about 70% of the water, and other times it is broken or not at all. But it is getting better. Add a few of those palm tree looking towers and we be styling on ramps.

Canyon is impossible for me with Verizon. Sag is good and rosey is good. So if you dont want to be bothered by the wife or work go to canyon. lol

OR...
get one of those cell phone antenna extenders that is rigged for 12V

OR...
Stay Home.

I would like to try out Rosy or Saguaro. I may have to ride around the lake with my phone out checking for coverage. If some of you guys get reception out there thats good nuff for me. I just don't want to drive out there and have to turn back home because I can't get coverage.

Saguaro seems to be the only lake that I can get service almost anywhere. It starts to get sketchy heading up the river. I have AT&T.

I get good internet connection on my blackberry at roosey and sag. Verizon also.

i have shitty service with cricket and i had service in some areas on bartlet last weekend which suprised me cause i never have service any where!

Bob you have good reception at alamo???? I have an occasional weak signal there?

roosevelt is very good for verizone reception and I know people who use the internet up there with air card, bartlett is weak up lake and don't understand pleasant the only place I don't have good reception at pleasant is way up in the river?

Be sure to update your phone every couple of weeks and you should get better reception there also. Thats the one thing I hate with Verizon, the phone will not know about new cell sites or that old ones are now gone automatically as some carriers do. I use to have decent analog coverage at the mine on Verizon and then with the new phone that is only digital I had no coverage until I found out about making it update, once I did that I had great coverage even at the mine where no one else can get anything.

To update it dial *228 and follow the instructions.

me too at pleasant. but i have at&t. soon as it cools down i'll be moving my home office back to my boat.

verizon gets it at rossy and in the middle of sag...and the middle of plez
