Where did the fish bass go at Saguaro

I loved the last fishing report in the Republic. 3-5 pounders being caught on surface baits and buzz baits, also larger bass being caught. Isn't that report describing things a month ago?
When things are real boring, we will troll to our next spot. We trolled from The Meadows, down the narrows, to the main lake. No hits at all. This is unheard of for us and our secret trolling bait.

I was out on Saturday from 4:30 in the afternoon until 11:30 that night and was able to muster up 4, a 4.6lb, 3.4 lb, 3.2 lb, and a 2.1 lb bass. The 3.4 came on a topwater popper and the rest were on T-Rigged worms. All the fish came in less then 10' of water in the thick grass. The evening bite seems to be decent now if you can tolerate the cold, I only saw one other boat fishing that night and they were after cats.

Hey Spidey, We started fishing the main lake more. Weve gotten bigger fish and less trafic. I was talking to rippenlips and he said your in the bug business. Ive been in the PC business for 15yrs. Hope to run into you at the lake. Deckhand

I've haven't fished Saguaro in about 4 weeks so I don't know what's going on. Sorry. :?
Over the past 3 weeks, I have taken some time to just cruise shorelines at various points of the lake and have seen a dozen or so fish on a given day in 1 to 5 feet of water. Some of the areas were around reed lines and some were around rocky shorelines. These fish also appeared to be in the 2 to 5 lb category. Two of the areas I came back through later and caught 3+ lb fish last week. In at least 2 of the locations I saw 4 fish cruising together. There were even the occasional carp or catfish cruising thru the area.
