Besides the obvious Boat Trader and Newspaper Classifieds, anyone have any idea where I can check for used boats? Im 'just scouting' for now(not for long though), I still need to get some work done on my truck to make it boat worthy, then its on.
Thanks
Jason

I would hit Boat Trader, BFHP Boats for Sale, BassBoatCentral, IBoats, and ProBass Classifieds. I finally scored one off of Boat Trader, though. And after months, it payed off! Ended up buying one from a guy in OK and picked it up in New Mexico.

Jason, Sometimes the boat dealers around town have some pretty good used boats.. and sometimes they look like they've been trashed up pretty bad also..... When I was looking for my used boat I looked at alot of private parties thru the Trader and the newspapers and also had about 3 or 4 dealers call me everytime that received a trade-in that was close to what I was looking for .. I would go to the dealer and check it out. If you decide to to the dealer thing I would recommend Complete Marine and Tempe Marine.

Go look at Complete Marine. I have two friends that have bought boats from them and I believe they got a great deal. One boat was a Ranger and had some engine problems at first but they came to the lake and did some adjustments and that boat flat out hauls ass for a small motor. the other was a Champion and has yet to have a problem. i think the good boat selection is due to everyone wants a triton?

What price range our you looking for, a lot of people know of boats for sale. If we know the price range we might be able to put you in contact with someone selling a boat. You might be surprised there is a lot of good buys on champions and rangers that individuals want to unload in a hurry.

try ncbf.com, there are tons of smokin deals on there. Certificates are the way to go if you have the cash or can finance 25K for a NEW skeeter 200ZX... and other memos, etc... heres the location... http://forums.westernbass.com/cgi-bin/ncalifornia/classifieds/index.pl

also, I have found some good deals at Southwest Remarketing in Mesa. They sell repo'd and traded in boats. I got mine there.

PM me if you have any questions

I bought mine in Minneapolis, MN and had it shipped down. It was a 4-year old Ranger/Merc with very low hours, garage kept, not a scratch on it, all for a 4-year old boat price. I found it on boattraderonline.com. I talked with local AZ dealers/dealer sponsored reps with boats that were 1-year old and for sale, but the price was too high. Oh yeah, the seller paid the MN sales tax. I didn't.
