Where to sell my motor?

Hey dudes, I'm trying to sell my 150 Optimax. I have no idea where I should post it up for sale. Should I keep it local? Or would I have a better chance selling it on a nationwide deal? What websites would you all recommend? Maybe something like boat trader? It's a 2006 150 Opti, with two years of warranty left... Any ideas?

Ya...no kidding! Why don't you just list it and see what happens instead of complaining about how hard it will be to sell.

I wasn't complaining.. Haven't even listed it yet. Just trying to figure out where to start.

Just start listing it on a bunch of websites including here. I would think you should be able to get 5-6K for that motor if you find the right person... It may not sell right away but if you have already committed to buying a new motor you may as well get it listed and start the process...

If it was me I would just sell the boat and buy one with the bigger motor, would probably be less hassle...

I'll have it up some time this week. Gotta take it in to get serviced and find out exactly how many hours, then clean it up nice for pics. I can't afford a new boat, if this motor sells ill have enough cash for the new motor. I guess a new motor is almost like a new boat, i'll have 5 more years of warranty
