I am glad that Clinton was able to secure the release of the two american from Kim chug cum Ill. But the real question I think needs to be answered is WTF where they doing there and who sent them in the first place.

And now you have three hikers jailed in Iran for crossing their border. Again WTF are they thinking. I personally think any americans that put themselves in harms way in what are intense international situations and risk war and our American Soldiers lives for their release are f***ing assholes. Iran may charge them with spying.

I just don't get stay the F*** away from these places dumb asses.

As far as we know and what we've been told they are just regular everyday hikers.
There are a lot of things we (Joe Public) don't know or get the full story on.
Then again....they could be just a couple of less then educated hikers that put themselves into a bad situation.
i think they worked for al gores tv show or something. i caught part of a statement that led me to believe that. but not sure.

Yes the two journelists did work for Al Gores Tv network but who exactly thought it was such a great idea Al Gore himself?
cia? hell IDK. funny that clinton went on his "own" accord with no agenda but to get the girls out.
Theres always an agenda we gave something up to N. Korea the deal was made before he even left. Do you think he will be smoking some cigars on the plane? Or will he just have them on hand just in case lol.
If you decide to take your vacation hiking in N. Korea or Afghanistan and you get into some trouble I don't feel real sorry for you. It's a little different than getting stuck on Camelback. The problem now is that it's been advertised and a bunch of crazy f'ers are going to try it to get to meet Bubba.
This reminds me of Nick Berg, remember him. You just don't walk into these areas of the world for pleasure or business unless you work for the company.
I was wondering the same thing. What did we give up for their release. I thought we didn't negotiate with terrorists. I am glad they were released to their families.
Believe it or not N. Iraq ( Kurdastan ) is a popular place for tourist and hikers. Problem occurs due to unmarked border crossings. The well to do Iraqis and Syrians vacation in the moutains in that area. They have alot of resorts in the area. My son in law has hiked there many times. There is more to it then we are shown on tv. Check out Google Earth.

It looks to me like high desert a lot like Prescott. All I am saying is people go at their own risk. Your ass gets in a jamb its your doing!

Has your son inlaw hiked all over the US so much that hes seen all the hiking the US or Canada or Europe or any other US friendly not foe has to offer? Probably not.
We have a stupid motorist law, why not a stupid hiker, reporter, etc? Guess we'll foot the bill for their stupidity and no charges for them.
