Okay pros, need a little help, I keep hearing of everyone catching boatloads of yellow bass. primarily at Saguaro lake. I dont ever fish Saguaro because of the crowds, and I dont have the freedom that most of you have of fishing during the week, so I have to resort to weekends. In the past, I have caught Yellows at Saguaro and Apache, but always on accident  while fishing for smallies or LMB, and they always put up a big fight :p . I am curious where a good place is to go on Apache Lake to possibly tie into a whole school of them, like everyone keeps talking about. And if you all are wantin to keep all hush hush for whatever reason, then tell me what features I need to look for to locate them...depth, structure etc...
Thanks in advance, and Tight Lines!! :p

I've caught yellows in the along the bank, West of Turtle Is. I don't know of a hot yellow spot on Apache but I've caught them there while fishing for LM's. Good luck and let us know what you find!

I've caught a few here and there on Apache, but it seems like the largest concentrations of them were around the Turtle island area. Find the baitfish, and the yellows aren't too far away. Spooning is one of the best methods to catch them.

Fishwrestler, You picked a good day to head to Saguaro. The Monday Morning Breakfast Club (MMBC) will be on the water. Look for the small flotilla of boats fishing together. If you're not sure you've found it, stop and listen for the word "PeckerHead!". If you haven't heard it in 60 seconds, its not us.

Seriously, bring your 3/8 and 1/4 oz silver Kastmaster spoons and cruise the middle lake area shorelines in 30 to 32 feet, when you mark a lot of fish you're on 'em. If you can't find 'em, cruise the middle lake area and look for a red ranger, stop and ask loudly if he's d a. I'll help ya out on the yellows.
