Everyone calls a big fish something....I just call mine by the number...a 6lb fish is a 'six' and so on. What do you call your big fish? I know there are some funny ones out there. (Big being larger than the average size of fish you catch)......

Just like Ike, when it's over like 2 pounds or so, "IT'S A MONSTER..........AAAAAAAAHH............IT"S A MONSTER!!" :Iconrotfl

Sorry, Jason, but I couldn't pass on that one. Ike been catching hell this week, huh?

Let's see, I've never really called one anything other than what it was. Like you, a "4 pounder" is one between 4 & 5, or "5 pounder" is between 5 & 6. It's not until they get past 7 pounds that it really changes. Then I add a "plus" to it. You know like a "7 plus", or a "9 plus". Nothing really earth shattering is it? Oh well, that how I do it.

If I had a dollar for everytime my dad or brother were netting and f'ed things up, right as fish breaks off at the boat, and they smile and say "wow, that would've gone 6+...." ---> I'd be a millionare. Actually, I'd only have two dollars -- but should'a had landed two nice fish....

To modify JasonR's question -- any good references for lunker goon fish (not including gay bass)?
