Let's see, I've never really called one anything other than what it was. Like you, a "4 pounder" is one between 4 & 5, or "5 pounder" is between 5 & 6. It's not until they get past 7 pounds that it really changes. Then I add a "plus" to it. You know like a "7 plus", or a "9 plus". Nothing really earth shattering is it? Oh well, that how I do it.

3 to 5 lbs = rats
6 to 8lbs = good fish
8 1/2 to 10lbs = slammers
10lb to 12 .14 = Canyon minnows
13 and up are TEENERS

Lake report from me today I farmed 2 rats on the huddy.
